The inaugural edition of Embark magazine for the University of California, Irvine’s School of Social Ecology celebrated the school’s first 25 years while anticipating the impact and accomplishments of the next 25. I played an integral role in conceiving of the idea for the magazine and stewarding it to publication: I advocated for the name Embark, planned and wrote the story content, and worked with the designer on the book’s layout.
