Eugene Water & Electric Board

Oregon’s largest publicly owned electric utility is a leader in delivering to customers electricity that is reliable, affordable and renewable. My goal is to tell that story to as wide an audience as possible — especially through the news media. I work closely with reporters from Eugene and across Oregon to help them tell more nuanced and accurate stories about energy and the utility industry.

A few of my favorite media pitches have been based off these stories:

EWEB publishes first draft of roadmap to Eugene’s reliable, affordable and clean energy future” (Dec. 14, 2022)

NAACP partnership installs solar panels, battery at historic Mims’ house” (Sept. 13, 2022)

New camera atop EWEB tower will bolster wildfire early detection capabilities” (June 28, 2022)

EWEB to sell former downtown headquarters buildings” (Feb. 24, 2022)
